Overview

Chamra Peak is the 2nd highest peak in Kaghan Valley, rising to an elevation of 4,677 meters above sea level. Nestled in the heart of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, this summit offers breathtaking alpine panoramas, lush highland meadows, and a genuine high-altitude camping experience.
TourRanger's 5-day, 4-night Chamra Peak Expedition is designed for trekkers who have prior camping and hiking experience and are ready to take on their first real summit push. Whether you are building toward bigger Himalayan objectives or simply seeking one of Pakistan's most rewarding peak experiences, Chamra Peak delivers.
It's recommended for trekkers who already have some camping and trekking experience. The terrain ranges from moderate to extreme depending on your fitness, climbing through Shingri Top, Khali Gati and a high camp before the final summit push. Temperatures run from mild by day to cold at night, so come prepared for variable mountain weather.
Good to know: prior camping/trekking experience is required. The trip runs as a group departure from Islamabad with all core logistics — transport, food, camping, jeep transfers, a guide and basic first aid — arranged by TourRangers. A reserve day is built in for the summit window. Don't have gear? We can arrange it or guide you on where to buy it.
